Please contact us for condition and valuation, insurance and damage surveys. Please note that to avoid any conflict of interest, we are sometimes reluctant to undertake ‘pre-purchase’ surveys and restricted from surveying any yachts we have been instructed to sell though Caribbean Brokerage.
Normally willing to travel however due to the current Covid restrictions it is impractical to visit the other islands.
GARDIENNAGE
We also offer a gardiennage service, principally to owners of vessels who have instructed us to market their boats through Caribbean Brokerage, although we are also willing to accept a limited number of other vessels located throughout Antigua.
The frequency and extent of inspections and related gardiennage services can be tailored to each individual vessel and budget.
In cases where we need expert advice and services from allied trades we work closely with a select number of other professionally qualified and experienced marine engineers, shipwrights and riggers.
We also offer a prompt and reliable customs brokerage for imported yacht parts and can obtain duty free extensions for qualified Yachts In Transit, deliveries and shipping for clients who have engaged our brokerage and gardiennage services.
We are dual British and Antiguan Citizens with extensive cruising experience in the Mediterranean before we sailed to the Caribbean. We are here in Antigua all year round although the office is only open in the quieter summer months by appointment.
Rest assured that your pride and joy will be left in good hands, after fifteen years in the Caribbean we know who to trust and who is to be avoided.
