We are here to take the stress out of selling your boat.
We are willing to list boats located throughout the Caribbean and will still continue to support you even after you leave the Caribbean.
There are many reasons why you may have decided to sell your boat. Maybe you have not been able to sail her enough recently. Maybe your circumstances may have changed or maybe you have been sailing all your life, circumnavigated, won regattas, in a boat you designed and built yourself, gulp, but now the time has come and you are thinking of hanging up the sailing gloves.
We are here to help you, as best as we can.
When we first became established in English Harbour there had not been a yacht broker in Antigua for a long time. That was more than 10 years ago now and since then we have sold almost 200 boats. All sorts of boats, from mini-transat race boats through luxurious cruising yachts to one or two of the worlds most beautiful classic yachts. Production boats, custom boats, classic yachts, racing yachts. We are always willing to talk no matter what boat you have and you can rely upon us to always give you honest and professional advice.
Like most reputable brokers we advertise extensively, not just on Yachtworld online, we network with other reputable brokers, we have access to the Soldboats database and we have a substantial database of clients on our mailing list who have approached us over the years seeking the boat of their dreams.
Our offices are conveniently located in the Officer’s Quarters, one of the most historic buildings in Nelsons Dockyard in English Harbour, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the sailing hub of the Caribbean. Hosting many well attended annual events, starting in December each season with The Antigua Charter Yacht Show, then after Christmas the Superyacht Cup, Talisker Atlantic Rowing Challenge, RORC Caribbean 600 Offshore Race, Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, Antigua Sailing Week and now in the summer the Optimist North American and World Regatta’s. Many thousands of yacht owners and potential yacht owners pass by our offices every year.
With 30 years of experience as brokers, not only of yachts, we are professional and courteous with buyers and sellers alike. We can be trusted and we know how to close deals.
Once we have found a buyer for your boat we conduct the sale on your behalf. Antigua being a commonwealth island our documentation is based upon English law and follows guidelines issued by the British Marine Federation.
We are very conversant with checking titles and the process of re-registration, we have to be, most boats we sell will be reflagged while buyers and sellers are often from opposite sides of the globe. We have extensive experience and valuable contacts among all of the Red Ensign Registries, the USCG National Vessel Documentation Centre, and at Transport Canada.
You can be assured your boat is in good hands, with knowledge that can only come from experience.
